Pengedaran Buku GC

Sukacita dimaklumkan bekalan dua buku terbaru terbitan MGCM telah diterima oleh MGCWP. Buku-buku tersebut telah dihantar kepada Setiausaha MGCWP Pn Mahadiah Muda di SM Sains Seri Puteri, Kuala Lumpur. Ini kerana sekolah ini berada di tengah KL dan memudahkan semua pengerusi Zon mengambil stok buku tersebut untuk mula dijual.

MGCWP dibekalkan sebanyak 15o naskhah bagi setiap satu jenis. Semua zon akan diagihkan sebanyak 30 naskhah masing-masing untuk dijual kepada ahli dan juga bukan ahli.

Sila baca surat yang disertakan dan sampel kulit buku-buku tersebut. Resit telah disediakan untuk urusan cukai pendapatan.

Harga buku : Antalogi Cerpen....RM35.00

Setiausaha akan menghubungi semua pengerusi zon dalam minggu ini untuk datang ke sekolah saya dan mengambil stok buku tersebut. Pengerusi zon boleh menghubungi bendahari masing-masing untuk tindakan seterusnya.

Kerjasama semua ahli adalah sangat penting dalam menguruskan penjualan buku-buku ini.

*Penerbitan buku-buku ini adalah merupakan satu strategi untuk memperkenalkan dan meningkatkan maruah GC kepada masyarakat khasnya dalam bidang penulisan.

*Jika kita tidak menyumbang dalam bentuk penulisan, mengapa tidak kita menyumbang dalam bentuk pembelian?

Buku Harian Rasmi MGCM 2011

Cantik juga ' lay out' Diari MGCM tahun 2011. Saya rasa yang terbaik sepanjang saya menjadi GC. Terima kasih kepada MGC yang menguruskan diari tahun ini. Semua GC harus memilikinya. Bukan sahaja untuk kegunaan peribadi, malah sebagai menunjukkan sokongan kepada Majlis kita.

Walaupun agak terlambat diedarkan, itu bukanlah alasan untuk tidak memilikinya.

Bangga menjadi warga GC..Apakah buktinya?

Kepada sesiapa yang belum mendapat naskhah tersebut, sila hubungi Ketua Zon masing-masing sebelum ianya kehabisan. First come first serve..dan stoknya terhad.

Majlis Mesra Sanjungan Bakti-The Event

A 'not in the list' event cropped up at a very last minute...That was when Kak Pah (Sharifah Ariziah ) and I, have to represent YDP, Pn Masariah to attend a special meeting @SMK Cochrane --later ended up to organise together with MPSM - a Majlis Mesra Sanjungan Bakti for YBhg Tan Sri Dato'Hj Alimuddin bin Hj Mohd Dom, our KPPM who is retiring soon...

Everything was so fast.....Ten GCKL was invited to attend the Majlis , not FOC, BUT we have to pay RM100 for the food. And GCKL was also incharge of 'hadiah dan cenderamata'..And then..quickly we ran through GC names...and came out with 10 names...and definitely the listed ones were the BEST..

It was easy to decide the present for him (as long as we have $$$$$)...and it was a digital Al-Quran.(We sincerely hope he likes it )..

...And what I love most was our team work......Masariah, Vasantha, Mr Tan, Ding, Kak Pah, Leela, Gurdarshan, Hamidah and Cikgu Za....We took pride in everything we do - We are proud to be GC..and we feel damn good when we are in our 'batik uniforms'...I guess all people around us were looking at us with full respect...or maybe envious of our 'closeness' (that day)....

Couldnt focus much on food (I really missed it), but I have no choice...because being in a front liners and to ensure that everything was okay for the prize giving ceremony.....in the end, leaving my stomach still empty. Back home, searching for food..

..Missed to snap the food photos, because it was quite a crowd ..with all the 'pengetua' and 'guru besar' lining up for food---Most of them looked strange to me except for a few, including my pengetua ..

Alhamdulillah, all was beautifully done- We managed to snap photo together with Pengarah and Tan Sri Dato-sebagai kenangan..Suddenly I heard somebody was whispering.."Ada lagi yang nak bersara dan kena organise lagi satu event.." Guess who ?

Majlis Mesra Sanjungan Bakti bagi meraikan pesaraan Y Bhg Tan Sri Dato Alimuddin KPPM akan diadakan mengikut butiran berikut:

Majlis perpisahan ini dikendalikan oleh Majlis Pengetua2 WPKL dan akan dihadiri oleh wakil-wakil Pengetua, wakil Guru Besar, wakil kaunselor, wakil JPN, Ketua2 Sektor dan lain-lain.

"Kecemerlangan Berterusan'

Program MBMMBI bersama Guru Cemerlang / Guru Sumber Bahasa PP Bangsar Pudu

Date: 28 Julai 2010

Place: Bangsar – Pudu District Education Office

Time: 2 – 4 pm

Target Group: English Language Resource and Master Teachers

Objective:

A. To plan for the following:

1. Immediate activities to improve and upgrade the proficiency of English

language among PMR and SPM students in the district.

2. Language camp for forms 1 and 2 students in the district.

3. Programme for the academic year of 2011.

B. To ensure that all resource and master teachers work together as a team under

the district organization.

Summary of Activities:

1. Teachers were divided into pairs and teams to carry out the Ambang PMR / Ambang SPM activities in selected schools.
2. Teachers were to prepare their resource material to be handed in to the district office for printing
3. Teachers in charge of the Language camp were to plan and to prepare their activities to be executed on the 25 September as earlier planned.

Achievement

Both programmes ere successfully carried out and kudos to the teachers and the excellent teamwork portrayed.

Program Penyelarasan Bahasa Inggeris

Date: 25 January 2010

Place: WPKL State Education Office

Time: 8 – 3.00 pm

Target Group: All English Language teachers and secondary school students.

Objective: To plan the year’s English Language programme and activities.

Summary of Activities:

1. Three master Teachers – Mrs. Vasantha Mallar N., Mrs. Gurdarshan Kaur and Mrs. Norashikin Zainuddin met with Mrs. Noorhana Hashim ( State English language Officer ) to discuss the year’s English language programme for secondary school students and teachers.
2. The programme discussed included pedagogical teaching, modules for student self paced learning as well as the preparation of English Language test papers for students in form three and five.
3. It was decided that Master teachers will attend the Trainer of Trainers course in Sepang and also the Action Research programme to be conducted by another Mater Trainer – Puan Leeladevi B.

Acheivement

1. To date, all English Language test papers have been set and sent out to schools.
2. Master teachers have attended the Action Research Course and will now hand in their individual projects by the end of October 2010.
3. In August, English language modules were written by the state’s Resource Teachers. These teachers were led by the above three mentioned Master Teachers.
