Program Ambang PMR dan SPM (Bahasa Inggeris)

Date: 16 – 19 August 2010

Target Group: PMR and SPM students of selected schools

Objective:

1. To improve the competency levels of the above students in English Language.
2. To familiarize students with the format of the exam papers so as to prepare them for the exams.
3. To work on test areas that require most attention.

Summary of Activities:

1. Teachers, in pairs, were assigned schools where they held parallel sessions guiding students in areas that required immediate attention.
2. Teachers guided, advised and worked with students to help improve their competencies in the language so that test marks would improve.
3. The schools were selected based on the 2009 results and with the kind permission of the heads of schools.

Achievement

1. The final evaluation of this project showed that it was immensely successful.
2. Students were very comfortable with ‘fresh’ faces and have specifically requested for the course to be repeated.
3. School heads were truly grateful and congratulated the sincere efforts of the Resource and Master teachers.
